Beer Kegs?
#2
kegs are mostly the main brands, from what i know of. canadian, bud, coors, not sure if there are others. the other thing to think about, its to keep it cold. YOu need ice and something to put it in, otherwise warm beer... And lastly youll have to put a deposit ont eh tap or but it, the keg from the last time i bought one was about 150 loonies. Hope this helps a bit... Some places also sell mini kegs (1/2 size)

A keg is also a standard unit of measure, named for the container above as so often. A full keg is a 31 US gallon barrel, but due to the unavailability of full kegs a half-keg is what most people commonly consider a keg. A keg in most contexts has a volume of 15 US gallons.
A 15.5 US gallon keg is equal to:
I believe it's worth about $175 or $170, plus as mentioned deposit for hte keg and a bunch for the tap and related. All in all, should feed about 8-10 people on a good night of party'n. I guess the buyin is equal and like mentioned above generally come in your major brands.
A 15.5 US gallon keg is equal to:
- 12.5 Imperial gallons (UK)
- 56.78 litres
- 100 Imperial pints (UK)
- 120 US pints
- 160 12 oz drinks

if your getting a half keg, get a small garbage can and put a bit of ice in the bottom, drop in the keg, then fill the rest of the can with ice around the keg.....should be good for awhile.
oh, and yeah, it depends on how many guys you have, and how big of drinkers they are. I've seen a half keg disapears in 2 hours with only 5 guys drinking out of it.
