dude i dont need to sit there with a manual and memorize what each key does, it takes like 5 mins of playing any video game to know where each key is. i dont know about your but im an online advertiser for a living and i can type/learn/know where each key is and what it does when im half dead. this keyboard does infact remind me of a peripheral design for individuals with mental disabilities, learning disability and autism.

if the 'rest of you' are not as retarded to look forward to that then what have you been looking forward to for the last 20 years of pc video gaming prior to the invention of this keyboard???
i guess a gamepad or a joystick just wont cut it anymore, we now need a lit up keyboard that tells us what to press to be able to play pc games.........yah i better put my chizzle away and get me one of these cool keyboards to light up my cave.

i guess you did not take my mouse comment seriusly b/c you figured your brain is capable of memorizing what the 3 click buttons on your mouse do, right?? is your brain not capable of memorizing the other 80 buttons on the keyboard??

Sometimes I wish CCA had an ignore button.

That is a very nice keyboard. I like the fact that the keys change based on the program your using. Very slick.

Not everyone lives in front of a computer. I don't have a problem with remembering keystrokes but a lot of casual users do.

However, this is classic for you... "If I don't need/like it, therefore it is a stupid useless product." I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

no no the product is not stupid, actualy it will take off in a huge way.

I am amazed at the fact that people with no evident mental or physical disabilities, learning disability or autism (not that i know of anyways) on this forum find this product to be so amazing TO THEM! This item is of GREAT benefit to the types of individuals whom i just listed, but not to have any of the above and yet wish to have this keyboard indicates just how lazy and/or dumb many indivuals are.

To anyone who wishes that they had this keyboard b/c it lights up and tells u what to press (requires minimal cognitive activity) should look into other Assistive Technology items already available on the market.

Here is an item which i think might be of interest to some individuals then Tracker Pro and the HeadMouse device as well. Look at that!!! Now you not only dont have to memorize what the buttons on the mouse do you dont even need to hold the mouse in your hand!!! How Cool!!! Hope you see my point - this keyboard falls right into the category of assistive technology products.

Thumbs up to the guys who made this product. It will be a big thing and a huge benefit in the market of adaptive and assistive devices. But to need a keyboard that tells u what to press is just like wanting a wheelchair when you can walk. Just shows how lazy people are.

I think it's the technical merits that a lot of us are amazed by. And hell, if it was ever sub $50 I'd buy one too just for the cool factor.

Anyways, it's probably useless for most gamers because if you have to look at the keyboard you're dead anyways.

And sure, it's assistive, but so is DVD navigation, etc. Using something that makes your life easier shouldn't automatically make you lazy.

Newb u are dead on about the looking down thing.

I can only hope that it's the technical merit that amazes people on here.

alghought your car navigation is a good point it is slightly different my friend, althought it is designed to make things easier it is used to actually guide someone (meaning they dont know where they are going) how many times do you use a car navigation if you keep goin to the same place over and over again?? Once? maybe twice??? after that you simply dont need it if you keep taking the same rout, right? Do you really need to get one of these keyboard if you play the same games over and over again? a regular one will do you just fine after 10 mins into the game.

Newb, thanks for a good, clean and mature response. I dont get many of these lately.

meh, i'm not gonna waste any more energy on this. to sum it up "prolifik, you're my god cuz of your superior cognitive ability to remember all the keys and shortcuts for video games and such in minutes. hopefully one day we can all be like you and be happy with our 1995 keyboard and mouse and ABSOLUTLY NEVER EVER try anything new or creative cuz that's just obsurd and we don't need it!"

Yeah, screw keyboards. I have wires that connect to my head that detect my brainwaves. I can control anything on my PC with mere thoughts in.
