Big Decison
I goto York, you're like a needle in a haystack there.
I goto class, and that's about as involved I get in the University life.
If you're looking for a better social environment, I'd recommend Guelph or Laurier or something similar.

I'm going just for the class. I have friends who live in Peterborough and who go to Trent and such, so there will be people I know.
I've done the social thing, i want to learn now.

lol, go to the U of L. class sizes are exceptionally small. exceptionally meaning most classes consist of 30 people, and the 2 lecture theater classes consist of 110 people.
You get to know everyone in your class, its open enviroment (you can chat with your professor after class). The school is plenty big and mostly based around getting students a full degree to become a teacher. probobly 50% of the people here are becomming teachers, and there is plenty of courses for it.
you can check it out more at www.uleth.ca
very friendly environment, and the school is still fricken huge. I believe we got a new 200000 square foot library. our university hall is .25 miles long, im actually looking down to the end of it right now, while im on a school computer.
also tuition is only about 2200$ a semester, cost me 3000$ for 1 semester after books and health plans, and a 250$ parking permit.
I dont know of any universities out of alberta, been to U of C....to big, to crowded, felt to insignificant.

I know Trent has a large gay population. I got nothing against gay people. I go for the school, thats it.
I may take a year off and go to Korea and teach English. I just found out there is a program where anyone with a diploma can go over and teach, granted they go through the interview process...amazing chance!

ah yes, like the people that go teach english in Japan. you only need a diploma, and to pass a test. they pay for your rent and they also pay for all your monthly bills (gas, electricity, food).
and they get a bunch of money left over. pretty much right in there pocket because they dont pay for rent or anything like that.
