Black Ice be slippery

Had an interesting drive into work this morning.
So I moved into my new house (in Keswick) last Tuesday and only worked Thursday and Friday last week so that's two trips in to work and two trips home from work since I moved north.
So today (Monday) I didn't have to work till 10:00 Am so I leave my house bout 9 and head down Woobine to Highway 404 and get on and am heading southbound and the weather's getting kinda crazy so I'm drivin kinda slow (maybe 90) I get just south of Aurora Sdrd and my front tires lift off the ground from black ice and I start to spin whilst hydroplaning (sounds more fun than it was lol)... after a 180 I'm heading towards the ditch on the east side and that ditch is like 4 freakin feet deep so I try to crank the wheel to the west and do about 3 360's and see the nice guardrail comin up (real fast) crank the wheel to the left again and miss the guard rail by about 30 feet and go into the ditch at about 90 km/h backwards truck goes up on two wheels sits for what felt like forever and somehow doesn't flip over (phew).
Couple guys in another pick-up stop and get out to see if I'm okay ...I get out and don't see any damage on my truck really so I just look at em ..they smile and say 'Almost flipped er' What could I do ..I laughed ...
Tow truck shows up and does a side pull with the winch.
$107 bucks later I out and on my way.
Coulda been a whooooooooooole lot worse.
Definatley made for an interesting start to the day.
So to sum everything up ...Black Ice Bad.

Not a 4x4 and no weight in the back ...kept sayin I'd get around to puttin some weight in the back but haven't yet.
Hindsight is always 20/20.
and I was sideways/backwards and sunk in good when I finally landed no hope of gettin out ..I tried ...even tried to see if the other truck had chains ..no such luck...
s'okay charged the tow truck to my work.
they'll like that.
they can afford it ...I can't ..lost to much money at casino niagara this weekend cuz you now how thats something you're supposed to do after you buy a house is go gambling to try and pay your house off ..hehe.

no offense, but dude its winter, 90km isnt slow on crap roads, u got uber lucky, but nothing pisses me off more then people who think either cus they have a 4x4 they can stop or have any more control on snow and ice then a 2wd, people who tailgate in slippery conditions, or people who fly past u like ur standing still cus ur goin under the speed limit cus u know the roads suck
im driving 8+ hours a day so i see it constantly, and honestly i cant wait till i get to pull over to make sure some dumbass in an SUV who blew past me puts it in the ditch and i can say "now do u see why i was goind 30 under the limit?"
