So who knows... In the states you can buy genetically altered cats for people with allergies there something like $3,200 and whatever it is that affecs people is removed somehow???
Those are fugly cats lol Perhaps its different with cats versus dogs? I know people who are allergic to both species and still have one as a pet and just put up with the allergie lol

Cool dog! I envey you...
After living with two large dogs (Lab/Greyhound and a Husky/Shepard) for the last few years...small dogs don't look so bad anymore! Your right about the poop!

I'm allergic to cats, dogs, gerbils, horses...etc. If its got hair I'm allergic to it! But for me as long as my house has good ventalation my allergies are kept in check. I have two dogs and two cats.

Its my understanding that with cats there is an enzyme in their saliva which agrivates the alergies. And with dogs, certain breeds have hair which is close to that of humans (Toy poodles, Shichons, and Bishon-Frise too I belive) and that makes them less allergenic.

^^ The higher quality food we put our doggies on created more to clean up! Mind you it is very...um...together compared to the other stuff. We have them on Solid Gold Hundenflocken...it should be called poopenlotsen.
