What exactly is the Blue Man Group? What is it they do just bang on a bunch in drums and such?? I found them on a dts disk from FS but would rather know what there stuff is before buying. I found there site online but just went out about there style etc etc..

Blue Man Group is primarily percussion and live they have tremendous visual interest. They utilize a lot of talented folks in their live shows and in their recorded music.

I saw them in Vegas, very recommended

 

I am aware it's more then drums, but wasn't sure what else... but I have heard there shows are pretty impressive if you see them live..

 

I just responded to the DTS thread before seeing this.

PVC made instruments, extension cords, industrial equipment etc.... They produce their own instruments for a very unique sound. They have mixed with some vocalists so it's not all purely instrumental.

If you get the DVD Blueman Group Live in Concert it will show exactly what they do. The DVD-Audio disc B.M.G The Complex has a couple videos but mostly audio with still screens. I use mine 4-5 times a day for demo material. It is recorded very well.
