Since you've got your panties in a knot worrying about something that's not going to be a problem (spyware working it's way over) head down to a computer store, or even london drugs, and pick up a crossover ethernet cable. Plug both computers together, and start copying.
Exactly chillax Joe, ask Chizzer how many americans call into where he works all the time with computer problems then start your Americans are better rant lol

Man, ur so paranoid about spyware stuff haha. To tell you the truth, not all spyware transfers to another hard drive when it sees it right away. Secondly u could run a scan and get rid off that crap. Then, you must reinstall ur windows and programs, or at least big chunk of them. Then, installing one hd into the other pc and copying the files is probably the easiest way around. I just did that a month ago when I got my new hd and im perfectly fine.
As for the ethernet cable, I don't think it will be that fast. Or am I wrong, I just havent used it, ever. From HD to HD you'll have anywhere around 20-30mb at best(AFAIR).
But looks like u already figured it out. Well GL.
Yeah I did get everything worked out fine. And yeah I am a little paranoid. I just don't want to screw the computer up. Some Spyware will absolutely not come off your computer unless you go in through MS-DOS and remove it manually and then it can cause all other kinds of problems. I just didn't want to risk it. The damn computer was expensive. And I know so many people who just transfer files and re-install all their old programs as fast as they can. Half of the progs I had on my old computer were all dirty *** programs and I didn't realize it until it was too late. So believe me I am not just going to be downloading programs and wanting to use them unless I find out exactly what it is going to put on my computer.
