brokerage charges for used items?

I have seen some good deals on used stuff from members on other sites, but they're in the us and am wondering what kind of charges any of you have seen from purchasing previously enjoyed equipment through the border... searched around but only get answers on new stuff shipped from stores.
Anyone have any insight?

There are also far more headaches with USPS. The majority of shippers use Brown as it is affordable for them, it has insurance coverage, tracking and most importantly, they are lazy and Brown comes to them......
