Bulk Liquor
I dont know if this is appropriate for this forum, so if anyone is offended, please feel free to delete or close the thread. I'm just not sure where else to turn.
I'm throwing a huge party the 2nd week of April and am looking at purchasing between 1000 and 2000 ounces of hard liquor. I'm wondering where I could go to purchase bulk liquor, preferably as cheap as possible. The cheapest I've seen so far has been Superstore. Anyone else have any ideas? It also has to be purchased in Edmonton. I'm also wondering where I would go to rent a pop machine for the night. Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I dont think that I'll need any permits. I'm not selling any liquor. Everyone is going to buy their share in advance. It's just a personal spontaneous get together with my and my 50 closest friends.

The 1000 ounces sounds more like a rational number for a single night even for 50 people. The 2000 is pushing it I think. 2k might work for a weekend event though. Meh, sounds like its gonna be a good time no matter what.
Anyway, you have the liberty of living on one of the most inexpensive provinces in Canada to buy booze. I would go to a place like Superstore and ask for case prices on 66's. They should be able to score you a pretty decent deal. And don't fret about a licence wither, no need if your not selling it.
I live in Kelowna and I always stock up on booze/wine when I end up in Calgary.....The Superstore liquor store in the NE is great.....purchase in quantities & get a further discount....very fine indeed!
I do look like an alcoholic on the plane though.
