Candlepin Bowling in Alberta?
#1
I was wondering if anybody from Alberta knew if there was even a lane of candlepin bowling in Alberta. I'm thinking about heading out there and I'd like to continue with this type of bowling.
Thanks for any info

candlepin uses candlelike shaped pins and a small 2 lb 6 ounce ball (fits in your hand, not your mouth) your allowed to use the dead pins and the highest average i've seen for league play was 131. highest sanctined score ever was 245. never been a perfect game yet.

I lived in Alberta/Sask for a long time and bowled for most of my youth (still do actually).
I have never seen or even heard of a Candlepin alley out West - seems to be a Maritimes/Eastern Canada thing.
I've never had the chance to play Candlepin - wouldn't mind a try though.
