Uhh... did you guys watch the game? I'll admit that I didn't but reports that I've heard all say that he did fight earlier in the game.

If you think it does then you're seriously messed up.

And check the replay again if you think their feet were tangled up. Moore's feet went back, but Bertuzzi clearly fell on him. Bertuzzi had at least 1 foot free (imho both) and you're nuts if you think that he can't stand on 1 skate.

He's paid to fight. He is the reason that every player in the league isnt taking runs at sundin and mogilny. If he didnt fight, no-one would take him seriously. Enforcers keep the game from getting too chippy, and being a hack fest. How many goals did Tie Domi score this year? You think he would still be in the NHL if he never fought? Bertuzzi is the same thing. The fact that he can score the odd goal, is just a bonus. Hes out there to fight, and to intimidate people. Unfortunatly, he took this one a bit far. IMO, an enforcer with any class, NEVER would have pulled a stunt like that. Ever see Bob Probert haymake someone in the back of the head, when they never saw it coming? I say kick Bertuzzi out for AT LEAST the remainder of this season (including playoffs), and let the RCMP continue their investigation.

They have to get rid of the instigator penalty. When someone like Wayne Gretzky says that half these injuries would be gone if there were more fights, someone should be listening.
