Canucks' Bertuzzi suspended indefinitely
i think he is talking about mcsorley..
i just saw the video.,...
suspend for the full year W/O PAY... 15 games into next year also W/O pay
and all the apology and that crap.
EDIT**
i dont follow hockey anymore, but this is not nearly as bad as Dale Hunter on Pat Lafontaine in the playoffs back in the day...
it is comparable to the mcsorely thing, but mcsorley used a weapon (stick)
it just sucks that the guy fell the way he did. todd meant to hurt him for sure, but i bet you otdd is $hitting himself now.
i dont follw enough anymore to know if bertuzzi is good or not, but it doesnt matter. BIG SUSPENSION, FINE, etc etc.. whoudl all be coming his way

How is what Bertuzzi did any worse than what Matt Johnson did to Jeff Beukeboom? Johnson hit him in the back of the head and Beukeboom didn't know it was coming. Bertuzzi hit Moore on the side of the head and he sure as hell knew it was coming. I don't think we would hear half of as much of this had it been May or Brookbank that did it but the media loves to make an example of a famous person.

I just realized i havent really given my opinion on this directly yet...
The canucks suck, I hate bertuzzi, but I kinda side with him. Moore hit naslund, it was "clean" in the sense that naslund put himself in that position, and moore couldnt back out of it. You skate with your head down, and im probably gonna lay into you too.
But, OBVIOUSLY there is gonna be some retaliation for that, and snoozie layed it to him. If snoozie knew what injury was going to come from it, he OBVIOUSLY wouldnt have done what he did.
It was bad luck on moores part, just as the moore/naslund incident was bad luck on naslunds part. It went a bit far, and now snoozie has to pay the piper. Yes, I realize that Moore fought Cooke earlier, but obviously that wasnt deemed to be proper "punishment" for the hit on naslund.
People can sit there and bitch about it, and call him cheap, but until youve been on the ice, and realize how emotions get flared, you have no idea. He was sticking up for a friend/teammate, unfortunatly, it was a bit excessive. I would have done the same in his position. (retaliation, not necessarily blindsiding him). I see where snoozie is coming from, and I dont blame him for being an enforcer. I think it could have been enforced differently, therefore, I agree with the punishment.
My 2 cents, Flame on Flamers.
