Anyone notice the # of car accidents going up since we got that freezing rain the other day ?

Man, I live on a main street and every hour or so a ambulance or fire truck or cop car will go ripping by with the sirens going starting around 5AM and dying off late evening till 2AM.... [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

Seriously... its been like 6 times today and its not even 2pm and we didnt even get much snow last night... [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

Oh ya.. I thought it was funny (although it not really) but I saw a line up of probably eight or ten tow trucks with cars at the cop shop waiting to be assesed for damage and fault... [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

It wasnt this bad when winter first hit !!!

 

Pffff... flowers are in bloom, sunny and +12 today. Golf courses are open. Saw the first set of short shorts today. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

 

Landsdowne was lethal this morning Haunz. I almost got his a couple times. The worse it gets, the stupider people become on the road.

 

Roads are REALLY bad in Peterborough when its bad weather like brutally bad. I drove durin a snow storm couple years ago there for a hockey tournament and nearly slid off the road without my foot on the gas at all didnt even touch it i was coasting and nearly lost it...

 

Heh.. the best was watching cars slide down a hill into each other after some freezing rain... backwords, forwards, sideways... lol...

I was on foot but decided to keep moving after someone jumped the curb a few feet away from where I was standing...

that would have whiped the smirk off my face.. lol...

 

Yeah the roads do suck here...and I can't believe some of the ppl and how they got their licence.
