I'll rig up something for you when I see you next Teri. I'm sure we could think of a better method of mounting that amp.

A local guy around here runs 2 Type R 12's in a Q-Form sealed enclosure in his 97 Trans Am with Type X components front and rear and routinely shares the SQ competitions with another guy that runs Focal Utopia equipment. He hits 147ish db's in SPL and takes top spot in SQ. (50% of the time against the Focal guy).

Everything in the T/A is Alpine other than his 5 Farad cap and Audiocontrol processors. It sounds sweet and the cars no slouch either. High 11 second 1/4 mile times with street tires (no juice).

the ones ill be working with are. They are the ones I bought off of crzyravr a couple months or less or more back while I was still in school in Oshawa. Right now im just runnin a 12" RF off a Punch 200s Amp in a prefab ported box with doin nothin special to it except stickin it into the trunk and hooking it up when I metered it last summer it hit 131.7 db. Before I got the Type R's I was planning on building a new box and altering things to get louder. But I got my dream equipment to work with now. I've always wanted Alpine gear.
