Car Cleaning Products 'WHAT TO BUY'???

I need engine cleaning products. Something that will bring it all back to looking factory.

Also how do I get rid of the "winter SALT" stain on my carpet?

help me out folks!

Cheers Ju

A product called SIMPLE GREEN is a very respected name in the engine degreasing field. They manufacture an entire line of cleaning products. Canadian Tire carries them. DO NOT pressure wash your engine. You may get away with it 99 times out of 100, but it doesn't take much to kill a coil pack, or do damage to the plastic they use for intakes these days.

If you cannot remove the carpet, then I suggest a steam cleaner which will also work well on the engine by the way.

You can also remove your floor mats and pressure wash them, then hang to dry.

I bought carpet cleaner to remove the salt stains on the carpet worked out pretty well. FOr the engine Simple Green is what my friends tell me to use. I'll be trying it out on mine in the spring.
