My personal favorite ...

I would suggest you go with a CRX or a VW GOLF to bad ur in Alberta someones selling a REALLY nice VW around the corner from my house. Black with amazing 17-18" rims (can't remember) and some other stuff done to it but nothing over the top rice. (no kit).
What about an MX3 would that be good for SPL Or?

Lol, sorry, living in BC kinda spoils you in some ways. I have a CRX and a 240Z, 25 year old male, few speeding tickets, and insurance isn't that bad for me. Car type doesn't seem to matter... from a 1984 S10 to the CRX was virtually the same.
Of course every incident I have with ICBC out here is a huge fight, even when I got rear-ended with doctor/chiropractor on my side I got next to nothing for it.

blind i'm sorry i love GM and all thier products, but once you go through all the crap i have with my damn car. you start to look the other way. i can't be having my car broken every other week. i need it to get around, party's, last minute grocery shopping, picking up family from diffrent places and picking up friends from out in the country.

Hi Tyler,
I had to wait for some of my dream cars for a bit...made it all the more worth while.
I've found from personal experience that having a nice car too soon can be crippling to the rest of your normal day to day life. Your life becomes your car....
I think you've got a great plan to get something simple that fits into your lifestyle.
The BMW will always be there later on....

blind what i meant is that my car need's to be fixed every other week. right now my car has a strange whistle coming from it. and when i go to rev it with the pedal to the floor. she cut's out on me. so i'm bring it to the shop i work at and i'm going to figure out whatthe hell is wrong wiht the peice of ****. honestly blind you think gm is all that and more, but after driving 4 diffrent brands of thier company. i have not been happy. my moms blazer has had to have countless things fixed on it. and when you go offroading with it, it rattles like hell on the highway. you'd think that mud would not get trapped up in the shocks, but i guess i was wrong. my dad had an 82 silverodo. nothing ever went wrong on that truck. thier older stuf i say lasts much longer then thier newer stuff. you could beet the **** out of his truck and it would keep going. that thing was awsome for 4X4ing. while my mom's 99 blazer can't do ****. i have drivin my dads almost new 94 seiara. and it sucks. V8 what, more like a V8 with a bad tempor. non of thier product's are all that appealing to me any more. they took away the cammaro, the thunderbird, they wrecked the impala with only making 4 door sedans, thier taking away the blazer. one of thier best 4X4 suvs. they are taking all the good names, that made GM more appealing to me. thier putting in fugly looking sports trucks like the ssr. they took away the s-10 and s-15 and replaced it with the calarodo and canyon. what are they going to replace the blazer with. please tell me it's not the equnox, cause that thing does not even diserve the name suv, it does not even have rear wheel drive. what kind of suv drives with it front wheels, a mobil thats what. whos to say they are not going to replace the yukon, tahoe, or the suburban. and now they have this car called the cobalt, is this gm's idea of replacing the camaro? i will never buy another gm product, unless it is a 72 chev c-10 pickup. and please don't even get me started about dodge. i will have nothign to do with them because thier sales people will have nothign to do with me. they out right disrespect me when i'm window shopping. you know i'd like to ask a few simple questions about thier trucks/cars/suvs, but all i get is a real ****ty answer. and that just makes me feel like they don't want my bissnes in a couple years. it looks like i have only had luck with ford. i can go into the ford dealership and i get called by my first name and they don't have to think about it. yes i know i work thier, but that's not the point. i have had more freindly service thier then any other place in town. the service guys love to work with me, they dont mind me being around and asking question about stuff. they love helping me learn more about mehcanics. my next vehical may just be a ford, or some kind of an import. i will never deal at another GM or dodge dealership again.
man this is one long post.
