My 2005 Acura TL was stolen this past Wednesday from my freaking driveway.
I was on my way to the airport at 6 am and found that my car had disappeared.
I also lost 60+ CD's and DVD-A's.....

If anyone heres of a white TL 6 speed with Nav for sale, let me know....

 

So, roughly where are you located (what province)
And whats the vin #?

maybe narrow down the search area a bit, if you in toronta I doubt I will find it in B.C.

It would be kind of hard to sell a car like that if it was stolen. Or at least sell it legitimately. They'll probably find it stripped or crashed somewhere after a joyride. Oh well, that's what insurance is for.

That sucks bud. Lets look on the bright side though...............now we can start another "What car should Killergrand purchase now" thread!

I'll put my vote in now for the new Lexus IS series.

 

Really sucks that it is gone. The sad but true fact is it is either:
a) crashed/burned
b)stripped
c)on a container ship on the way to...?
and a slight chance (hopefully)
d)recovered with no damages

Best of luck. Hopefully your insurance covers anything including stereo if you had one in it. Just curious...how was it stolen (flatbedded, hotwired, keys left in it...etc)?

 

Alot of vehicles are re-badged with a bogus vin from the states, and resold in a different province.
the technology behind stealing cars is as complex as the systems uses to prevent them.
you must have had a remote starter.

 

Call me stupid, but does having a remote starter make it easier to jack?

 

I am from Montreal...
I didn't hear a tow truck and neither did my neighbors.
I have a feeling it is someone from the local Acura dealer who had a key made and stole it.
I am VERY well insured and have $0 deductible which is OK. I am pissed that I lost a lot of my top CD's and DVDA's.

Well, now I have to get a new car. I have a new Maxima as a loaner which is OK, but I think, as HARDWRKR suggested, I will check out the Lexus IS and the new BMW 3 series.... Maybe a Subaru WRX STI?

Or buy a basic Honda Accord for commuting and get a used Porsche Boxster for summer? Suggestions?
