I went in August, 2001. It was hella cheap back then. I went for three nights, airfare and hotel for ~$650. Today, there are fewer carriers in Canada (Canada 3000, etc.) so Westjet can charge more. Also with oil more expensive, its not nearly as cheap as it used to be to fly. That being said, our dollar improved down there so its relatively less expensive to eat, etc.

Sorry, no particular help here. I have been browsing as well because I have two weddings to attend in Vegas this year, late August and late October.

Anytime there is a tradeshow (almost always) prices are high.

Also, Vegas is no longer the all you can eat $5.95, $40 a room bachelor party it used to be.
It is now higher-end, American sleaze.

better book your room early if your going to CES, I book mine in augest and some of the hotels are already booked up. cheap....CES...never
