When I ask her why she doesn't use it, its because she doesn't want to go alone. Now I have to go out probably spend the same amount again so I can go with her. Maybe they'll have a "rub n tug" option to their service

But anyway, my wife is also super hard ot buy for. But its a good thing we share alot of the same interests, cus if she doesn't like it I will most likley be able to use it
All women are hard to buy for, men have their fare share of being hard for as well however. But significant other gifts are always best coming from your heart. If you've been with them for awhile you should know them quite well and thats what they look for in the gift you give them. If you truly love someone and truly know someone you know what they like.

And Fat most cases thats how it is we don't like going alone, so think of it as buying a "for 2" package so its more of a together thing.

Some gifts are for women to get away and relax, and some are for women to be together with the love of their life.

95% of women like jewellery. But 5% don't and of those 5% its important not to do it lol. I won't wear any rings unless its to permanently stay on my hand I always have a fear that its gonna get stuck on my hand lol Lots of women hate the color of gold, so stick to silver, white gold or platinum.

Overall there's 2 things to remember in buying a significant other a gift...
1) Its to come from your heart and thoughts it'll mean more and think of it as a test.
2) Its not how much it costs its whats put behind the gift.
- Spa (treating her to relax, whether your with her or not)
- Resort Weekend Away for 2 its time for you two to spend together away from everything

And complain about women more than I've ever seen ANYBODY complain about anything.

My Two Cents, no woman likes kitchen things for any occassion, buy her a spa day, romantic dinner, Something that interests her.
Crap, back to the store to return the spatula

Ahrem... WRONG.

No woman likes kitchen things for any occassion?

For my gf's bday (nov 12th) I took her to a kitchen supply place in town, gave her the CC and a spending limit, and let her go nuts. She loved it.

For Xmas she wants a Kitchenaid Professional Series food mixer ($400 )

So please don't say NO woman wants that sort of thing. All people are different

Depends on the woman, if its for a mother UNLESS they say that they want that, then it's not a territory to venture upon lol Got my mom a garlic press for her birthday one year cuz the good one we had got ruined in the dishwasher it was the best.... Anyways I learned not to do that again. HOWEVER She loves Kitchen Stores and going to them and such, just certain occassions its not a particular gift most want.

At least you gave your gf a spending limit

Anyone who makes their own pizza or oven cooks pizza in general, do you have a Pizza Stone and how do you find it works for you? Reactions I've heard are its the best thing to use when making pizza.

Oh yah and JordyO I asked for a Magic Bullet (Blender) for xmas lol (Asking and hinting at kitchen supplies not mentioning or even dropping hints not such a good idea)

well, unfortunately i have been contemplating the idea of just 1 big gift for the GF this xmas - yup, the ring. i didn't want to have to resort to even thinking about it but right now with all my other options, it's looking like a pretty good choice....but i'll probably wait....

anyway,
last year i tried making some gifts...they worked out really good not only for the GF but a lot of other people too. everyone really liked the homemade gifts...plus it saved me a lot of $$$ and just cost me a little time.

Careful with popping the question on xmas occassions, if anything xmas eve is better for that IF I may suggest if your gonna do that ... do christmas eve, and use her xmas gift as dinner or something inexpensive, like an idea you had last year they worked out well.

Just remember if you pop the Question on christmas eve/christmas that'll be another occassion for you to remember on that day too lol
