Cloutier out, Nucks are done!
^^ Yup and then they fought.
Good game last night, really intense.
I'm liking the 2 all Canada series, very entertaining. In stating that, the Canucks are just too good for the Flames, sorry but it's true.
Even w/o Cloutier. Lets not forget, Hedberg took Pittsburgh to the semis a few years back. He does have playoff experience.
Go 'Nucks Go.

Ohlund isn't a fighter and Iggy dropped his gloves first. So, in defense of Ohlund, at least he didn't skate away or duck a fight. Also, since Iggy had his right hand free, I would of did what Ohlund did too. By staying close, it takes away the room to punch until you can tie him up.
You could consider the hit by Ohlund on Iggy to be just the same as Simon's hit on Salo earlier in the game. Both were boarding but I think that Simon's was worse because he had a head of steam. I don't think Ohlund had a lot of speed when he hit Iggy. Iggy certainly didn't seem to be in as much pain as Salo was.
Hedberg is a pretty good goalie. As someone mentioned, he took Pittsburgh into the third round in his rookie year as a callup from the AHL. He plays the puck way better than Cloutier so that will have its advantages for the Canucks too.
How about Mike Ribeiro faking a separated shoulder? I have no respect for him and hope he gets what he deserves. I guarantee he has a bullseye on him now.

GO FLAMES GO - cheering for flames
Hedberg isn't a bad goalie - Adding two cents saying that even tho I cheer for Calgary that Vancouver isn't out becuz Hedberg is just as good. (responding to the topic of the thread)
