i got some television episodes of "the Shield" the audio is fine , the video on the other had is green and blacky and what not....i dont know how or where to get codecs...i just wanna watch this

Go to http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Co...k_download.htm and download the K-lite codec pack. I would get the Full or Mega if you watch alot of stuff on your computer. After you install run the movie again!
