Cheechoo is a good player you only hate him because he doesn't play for Calgary lol. Cheechoo used to play for my home team (OHL), just cause he plays for the opposing team doesnt mean he's stupid man lol

Ricci is from Toronto aka Canadian the guys a good hockey player. You can't say they suck just cause they don't look good. Everyone hates alfredsons hair at least his fits his image tho. Ricci it doesnt at all lol But also doesn't mean he's a bad hockey player.

Ricci was votest sexiest man in colorado in '96 (or '98 some time around then) I realize that doesn't have much to do with the convo, but we always make fun of him...and someone brings that up and we wonder how or why?

Jarome Iginla
Position: RW
Birthdate: 7/1/1977
From: Edmonton, Alberta; Canada Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 205 lbs

2003-2004 Postseason Fights: 2 Date For Against Opponent Time
4/11/2004 CAL VAN Mattias Ohlund
Position: D
Birthdate: 9/9/1976
From: Pitea; Sweden Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 220 lbs

3pd 19:49
Comments: Iginla is pissed off from a hit from behind that Ohlund put on him, so he drops the gloves, and Ohlund follows. Iginla throws mostly body blows with the right, but a few to the head as well. Ohlund just holds on in-close. Iginla switches to the left at the end and lands a decent punch, one that appears to open a cut on Ohlund's eyebrow. The linesmen come in, and Ohlund decides he wants to throw at that point.
Voted winner: Jarome Iginla - Voted rating: 4.7

4/24/2004 CAL DET Derian Hatcher
Position: D
Birthdate: 6/4/1972
From: Sterling Heights, MI; USA Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 235 lbs

3pd 19:36
Comments: Iginla slashes Hatcher and they both agree to go. As they drop the gloves Commodore tries to come in but is grabbed by McCarty and they scrap as well. Iginla still has his visor on, and lands a few on Hatcher who is a little off-balance. Hatcher gets Iginla's shield off, and through a lot of grappling they both get a few shots in with each hand. Hatcher tries to use his reach, but Iginla does a good job of getting inside. Iginla gets one more punch in and throws Hatcher down, then throws another punch on the ice. Other Penalties: Hatcher received a high sticking.
Voted winner: Jarome Iginla - Voted rating: 6.5

i agree, whether the game is a blowout, or tied, or one goal, no matter how much time is left, a penalty is a penalty,

funny how chris simon gets pulled down by the jersey in one end, and no call is mad, 10 seconds later he tugs a jersey and the refs are all over it

refs can decide a game just as easily by not making a call on a blatant penalty as they can for calling something incidental.

oh and numbnut deserved alot more then he got for that showboat goal, anyone remember when tyrell owens scored in dallas and ran the ball out to center to celebrate on the cowboys logo and he got hammered for it, same thing. honestly ur up 2 nothing with a minute left and u have an empty net, just walk it in, u gain nothing by tryin to make it look pretty, and u just put a bullseye on your back for the next game, like honestly how can u even celebrate an empty net goal when ur up 2 nothing with 50 seconds left? do u want a hero cookie? have some class, then dont cry when u get hit for tryin to be a smartass.

.... Ohlund isn't a noted fighter (why not fight Jovanoski?) and he had a serious bout of flu (he almost missed the game and was on anti-biotics) While I have to say Calgary has done a great job of cheap shot thug hockey up to this point, I hope talent prevails and they go golfing.
