hmmm in regerence to contact lenses, is it normal for custom like colored contacts and stuff to only come in one size as far as BC and Diameter go's??? (i dunno what BC stands for)

I only ask, cause i got a box to make my eyes a neat green, they're cool cept it's kinda blurry annoying on the outside bottom of either eye...and i think it's the size of contact. They're a lil different then m normal contacts.

Normal are 8.4 BC and 14.2 Diameter.
New are 8.7 BC and 14.4 Diameter.

I just confirmed with our contact Lens Fitter hear at work, and yes you can get various different base curves for colored. Basiclly anything you can get in a non-colored should be avilible in a colored version (with some extreme exceptions of course).

hmmmm then why the heck did she give me these.... i can only imageine those numbers being off are why they seem funny or feel funny. Hmm not sure if something like this is returnable due to the fact that they're kinda custom orders....might have to go back in and talk to them :S.

The reason they prolly seem a bit blurry is that your pupil is larger than te standard size hole in the center of the contacts. I have a set of zebra stripes, and since I have small pupils they don't bother me too much, but the holes in the center of the color are standard size. Also the diameter of the lens is so that it covers all the color in your eyes, which is why it would be bigger, because standard clear lenses usually only cover to the edge of your color, and they can't tint right to the edge of the lens.

If you have already opened the box you will have hard time returning them.

It could very well be that this was as close as a Rx they could get in the style you wanted. Are they the disposable contacs? If so they are not custom made to your Rx. The company makes thousands of different contacs with different Rx's and Bc's. Sometimes they just don't make them in your exact Bs and Rx.

What you should try is not wearing your old ones for a day. Then first thing in the morning before putting on glasses (if you have any)put on the new contacts. With any luck your brain will adjust to the minute differenses.
