Cordless drill
Hey, I am looking to get a decent cordless drill with a good torque rating, and a 1/2" chuck. Any opinions on this one: http://www3.sears.ca/webapp/wcs/stor...ctId=157709768
I am on a bit of a tight budget so Makita/Dewalt are a bit out of the question, and this will not be for heavy duty usage either, I am not working in the trades. Thanks!

I think Craftsmen tools are very good for the money. I've got a 5A corded 1/2" model that has worked for years.
Do you need the 1/2" model? That drill must weigh a ton.
GH...is it particularly top or bottom heavy? If it balances well in the hand, that will help.

The Craftsman drills are very good performers.
I've got the 13.2v and have had zero problems with it for the two years I've owned it.
My dad who is a professional woodworker uses a 18v version and he's completely happy with it as well.

The wife bought me the Ryobi kit, Drill,Flash Light, Circular saw, and sawsal *spelling* 18 volt been 2 years now no issues at all..I think it was just shy of 400$ for the set I think...has something like 3 or 5 year warranty on it I think.. never really looked at it since I haven't had issue....
It balances well, and yep....... it's a heavy beeeeeeeeeotch.
They weren't my first choice, but these were gifts(prefer it over the B&D 18v).....
