Hey guys and gals, I'm about to pull my hair out over here!
Anyhow, I d/l some tv shows that I would like to watch on my tv. I've tried converting the avi files to both vcd, and svcd files, and the burning them through windows onto a cd.
Well neither play in my dvd player(s). So what exactly do I have to do to get this to work, or am I going about it the totally wrong way?

^ I know that, like I said in my original post I converted the (avi) files to vcd (mpeg) and also tried svcd (mpeg) files WITH WinAVI then burned them to a cd. The dvd player will not recognize it, I tried it on three, that's my problem. Not converting the files, but maybe how I should burn them or something. If anyone has done this successfully, then lemme know how it's done.

May be a stupid question, but are you burning them to a CDR or a DVDR?

I use like Tmpengence or whatever it is, I have all the Joey Eposides would like to fit onto 1 dvd but need to change the bitrate abit.. it's slow *** process as well.. like 30 min per shows to compres and like 3 steps involved to get the Ac3 sound with it as well.
