Cruise control is ran by vacuum and aside from the switch in the car, most of it is under the hood.
Sounds like you have a vacuum problem. My Lumina Z34 was chronically plagued with them - GM uses this junk hose that goes brittle and causes all sorts of problems. My Z34 had pushbutton vacuum controlled heater controls too - that double sucked every time a hose cracked
GM sucks son, it's too bad you have to find out the hard way..

and i have always looked up to chevy(GM)they have been the vehical of chocie for my family for many years. But now thier service is just gettin crappy. they make me repair things that don't need fixen. to many dollars go to my local gm dealership for stuff i don't need. they have really slacked of in the last few years. at leaset at thier dealer ships.

dam you chevy. i wrote a complaint letter about thier **** poor service and used cars and trucks. i got a reply. they said for me to call her back and they will schedual an "apointment" for be to get my breaks checked out. if sumtin wrong wit them and they won't fix it for free. ill say screw you guys, you just a lost very good custermer. cause since day one of having this car nuttin but troubles.

k well i have done soem thinking. i love my car. and thier is nuttin really al that wrong wit it. so im just going to keep it and make it look cool, better then some dam chevy dealership could. get a new paint, ari supension, new stereo, new every thing that looks lame. yes you are saying wheres this kid gettin this money. not sure yet im going to have to save. and hopefully. by spring of 06 i will have enough money saved up and plus put away for college. lets hope every thing goes according to plan. cause i love my car, and i just want to make sumttin of it. o and does any one know of a place for after market parts for luminas, mainly hoods, spoilers and lights.
