i've been waiting for 33mins in both of these stupid virtual checkout lines and i haven't gone past 1% thanks for creating pandemonium with your great prices...

1080P doesnt really mean jack unless you have a really huge display or are sitting at just the right distance.
1920x1080 is still full HD reguardless if it's interlaced or progressive.
i see sony's BS marketing hype is working well

YEa true that, I play Mx unleashed on 1080i on xbox, and it looks ****ing clear no pixels, no jaggies, I love it. anyways, prob wasn't the right section for this, but yo, Im hitting futureshop 6 am wednesday, I want one of those 500 gb externals for 99 $ or I might hit up the 1 terabyte for 179 $, whichever is still in stock .. Yayyyayy !!

$99 is a sweet price for 500gb. i want the 1tb model but i dont want to spend that much. i will be there too to see what else they have

I really wanted to get one of those $99 HD DVD players for my GF. I've got one here at home with a bunch of movies, but the only ones that I can take to watch at her house are the combo disks, which I only have a few of. I managed to add one to my cart when they were still in stock, but by the time I made it to the checkout stage, they were sold out 
. I was going to get up first thing this morning and go buy one in the store, but I just didn't have the motivation after a long Christmas day.
I did manage to grab one of the $199 external 1000gb hard drives from the Best Buy online sale though. I was looking at the one that FS had for $179 but it was a cheaper brand and was actually 2 500gb drives. The Western Digital one from BB is is a single 1TB drive, I may remove it from the case and throw it in my computer. Either way, it's still a great price for a 1TB drive.
