So if he was fired how did they continue with the Buildoff? Was it not BlueBears car to begin with? If he was fired couldn't he have just said screw you that's my car and be off? I was also reading on Discovery Charlie quits to goto a rival shop as well so they lost there top guy in the prep/painting area as well.

Have you seen the trucks episode with 'Crazy Horse'? Its an old Bronco, not sure what year. Im not usually too intersted in offroading trucks, but that bronco was sweet!

just FYI
Monster Garage got together a big team of old custom legends, all a bunch of old guys that were like 60 or 70, one guy was an old movie star from Ben Hur, and they put together an amazing car so quick... it was magical. seriously. even Jesse James was like "I can't do that" when these old guys were fabbing things up

I just watched my first full episode of Overhaulin'.....the one where they re-did a girls 1970 Camaro....

Totally frame up re-build....very impressive....I would guess about 50K + of work done...plus some cool custom stuff too..

As far as audio goes, they put in a fairly decent Alphasonic (I think)system and even showed a good number of pics..

Good show

That was hands down the best MG ever and possibly one of the best "car" shows ever................it was inspiring...............at least to me it was........

and to add to it............those 5 guys are the founding fathers of custom cars..........there are a few others but those 5 were most of them......

I would have canned blue bear too, and enjoyed doing it. The show is just that, a show, and they dramatize things... but blue bear has always been a dork (which is fine) but a bitchy self absorbed disrespectful jerk who doesn’t understand the concept of safety (Boyd has a reputation to maintain) will be shown the door. (Remember in the final alumatub episode Mike talked about how his face got fooked up, I think Boyd remembers too)

You knew blue bear was toast when the "BITCHASS meatstick wife " was saying, "I cant believe he is talking to Boyd that way" in the previous episode.

I am really enjoying the biker build off series too. What artists!

The buildoff is cancelled when Chad is fired. Mike then goes and finds a 29Ford Truck to build and re-challenges Boyd with 9 days left to build the whole thing. In the final episode they indeed complete the truck but it spends half it's time to the show on a trailer as it has a few problems. Then Boyd's BITCHASS meatstick wife starts calling it a trailer queen at the show cus the truck is getting WAY more votes than Boyd's car. Of course the point that it was built in EIGHT DAYS compared to Boyd's SIX WEEKS is never borught up
In the end the truck wins the popular vote

Charlie has moved on to FOOSE's shop. They showed him there in an episode of Rides Apparently the episode when he quits is coming up here soon. You can totally see it coming though - he comments often how the constant short deadlines are and he wants to spend more time with his wife. Charlie's a cool guy...Boyd ****ed up losing him...
</font>
No **** he joined with Foose eh.... Foose does some nice ****... wish I could find a site to download shows since I don't have cable.. What was the reason for Charlie leaving? Pay or just Boyd being Boyd?
