dan cloutier kills 2 people(rumor)

has anyone else heard the story/rumor that dan cloutier (the goaltender for that vancouver canucks) was involved in a car accident in vancouver just before christmas in which his porsche cayenne jumped a curb and hit 3 people, killing 2 and seriously injuring 1 other. he then fled the scene(dumbass) and there is speculation of a coverup by the canucks and the police in that they didnt want to release the information becuase they didnt want to distract from the olympics(sounds like bs). there is also speculation that he was impaired(even bigger dumbass) and that other canucks were with him at the time, namely mattias ohlund and maybe others. the mcl tear that he is said the suffering/recovering from is also a fabrication to cover up for his suspension by the nhl and the canucks. this news is said to be released after the olympics

damn... i sure hope that is not the case.... canucks are having no luck.. theyre always got the drama over there

I have heard this rumour as well - it's been circulating since almost right after the accident.

IMO it is

The Canucks and NHL aren't powerful enough to control the police. Can you imagine the backlash if indeed they attempted to cover up or delay this information? If it IS true I will be shocked.

I tihnk that if they could cover up a story about people being killed, then the gambling thing with Rick Tocchet (spelling?) could have been covered up just as easily.

i saw this rumor back in december. I have hard time believing it's true. Especially after 3months

I also heard this rumor, but I HIGHLY doubt it. You think they could keep that under wraps after the Dany Heatly incident???? I doubt it.

I heard about the Cayenne accident, never heard if they found out who the driver was, but if Dick Cheney's little gun incident was made public, I would imagine that this kind of incident would make the press also.....
