gasoline.
Yup for sure, gas will also melt the glue that adheres the decal or badges on.
Gasoline? I thought that was bad for paint aswell, back when i pumped gas I remember older people always bitchin about getting "gas on the paint".
and on my passenger side the adhesive residue is still prett thick should i just bust out the hair dryer for the thicker ?

Old people bitch? No way. Say it ain't so.

Now I'm not saying gasoline is good for your paint but how many cars do you see with a fade or rust strip below the filler door. I've never seen it so it can't be too terrible for the finish.
Yup a little Gasoline went a long ways, got all the glue off now to bad my paint had a tiny little bit of fade on each starting word of the badge. Gunna try a little wax to hide it.
other then that my ride looks slick!
