Question

So I'm pondering getting a dishwasher....I despise doing dishes!!I would rather clean my toilet with my tongue after Fat Whacker's been in there than do dishes!!

So anywho..I'm trying to decide whats my best bet?New or Used?

Each one has its pros and cons.
Used:Cheapbut no warranty if something goes haywire
New:Get some backing if theres problems, but you pay a considerable amount more.

I wouldnt mind going used, but the idea of going to all the trouble of getting here and then having it crater on me 20 mins into my first use kinda scares me.Then I'm out any(if any)money that I paid for it and then I gotta fix it too ot find another.

With new,if something goes wrong,I'm covered, but its good chunk of change.

At the same time I have thought about getting one of those countertop dishwashers, but some people tell me I would be better to set my dishes in the front yard with a sprinkler.

Another friend tells me if I'm going to buy one either get El Cheapo Grande or get the top of the line one that loads the dishes for you and everything...

HELP!!!

Tell me what you think!!

I was going to tell you to just get a girlfriend.

In retrospect, they can be very expensive and tend to malfunction...

get married... just make sure she wears white, so the dishwasher matches the fridge and stove.

Some of you guyz are really sexist. And its sad considering you complain more than any woman I know.

Aaron get a new one, that way your covered with a warranty. Cuz when you need to fix it is when it'll count most. Warranties are worth it on appliances man. You'll kick yourself down the road if you buy used and the next week it breaks. They get expensive to fix unless you know someone. Paying more in the long run is far better than paying more over and over.

Yeah....I tend to agree with you on both counts...

I'm leaning that way,but just looking for some backing that its the right choice....

Just remember if you buy used and it breaks next week what your left to deal with versus years of comfort with a new one if it breaks.

My sister had one in her apartment when they lived in Ottawa a couple years ago, I think they still have it but its collecting dust considering they live in a house with a full dishwasher now.

It worked good for them however they had to rinse the dishes before putting them in to ensure they were completely clean in the end. It was an expensive one as well. They use a lot of water and are pretty loud.
