When I was in high school....(oh so many years ago), Driving high was like waking up in the morning. its second nature...and it does slow your sense down...but with that being said I have seen alot more high drivers drive sLower then normal or posted limits. However I agree with everyone else, texting,cell phones are rediculous, but yet I can't seem to put mine down while driving.

What does alchool or pot increase besides the loooks of ugly women?
And when the so called focus increases when high, I would say that it doesn't mean anything, you might be focused but to slow to react properly and adequately hehe.

pot doesnt make ugly chicks good looking, it makes them funny lookin instead. you cant help but laugh.
lol all those pot head movies, they arent true. pot only makes you slow to react to thing that are not visible, things for which you have to use your brain, like getting a joke, etc. When it comes to reacting to something that you are seeing it doesnt really slow you down. Adrenalin kicks in, you react and 5 seconds after your high is blown.
when it comes to driving, i'd have to say that paying attention is far more important than your reaction time. and you pay just as much attention, if not more, when you are stoned.

I can end this debate right here as I am the living example of this. LOL Been doing it for 24 years. Been involved in 5 accidents and had 10-15 tickets in that time. NONE WHILE STONED!!!! Only time I have ever been pulled over, got a ticket, had an accident, or even a close call was when I was dead straight. NEVER had any kind of incident while stoned. Here is my theory why.
1) Tend to pay attention more to my surroundings.
2) Don't really want to be talking to Police when high, so drive in a way to not draw any attention.
3) More relaxed and patient, pot is the perfect road rage cure. LOL When I am not stoned I am the most impatient ignorant you will ever meet on the road, tailgate, cut people off, etc. After a puff I will slow down to let people in front of me, no speeding, no multiple high speed lane changes trying to get around the idiots doing 80 on the 401. The proof is there, if you watch me on my way to work ( totally straight ) and just going to do errands on the weekend ( really high ) there is no comparison. Some nights I am amazed I made it to work without getting out and severely beating someone. I will take anyone for a drive, then have a puff and drive back and you tell me the difference, and which guy you prefer to be in a car with.
Well with all this talk about pot I think it is 420 time.
