well im gonna have to make a stand for the chev's here. you talkin sh*t about my truck. now that i don't like. in no way is my truck a junk yard lovin fool. thier built like a rock. my dad had a 84 short box pick up. it lasted him many years. we put that truck through hell and back. it was a farm truck it was a work truck and a 4X4 all at the same time. and not once did the thing call it quites on me or my dad. that truck is still in service today. so i would like to see your ford do all of the above and be over 20 years old and still give it 110%

LOL I started a fight here. Ford does make really good trucks, and yes the Daytona was a decently quick car. The poor person's sports car is an expression. I don't mean a street person finds change on the ground and gets a mustang, just that it is sporty and affordable.
Either way, I think that the new Charger is a good idea for Chrysler, it opens them into a new market that I personally feel they were left out of, and that is the entry level sports car market. The 2.4 Neon is pretty sweet though, I just saw one yesterday

i found some different pics of a rendered charger, it looks better than the one posted but still has the crappy front end, but at least it has the styling of the traditional muscle car

it's the orange one, like i said, it's just a drawing, but i think it kicks on the other one

I worked snow removal/landscaping for 2 years, we had 5 Fords and 2 Chevy's, all built around the same years. all were Dually except one Chev and one Ford.....which two trucks do you think were in the shop being fixed ALL THE TIME? That's correct, the Chevy's....which trucks couldn't keep a tranny if thier life depended on it? The Chevy's.....what trucks took the worst beating and loved it...asked for more....the FORDS. Believe me when I tell you, I've seen both trucks break, snow removal is one of the worst things you can put a truck through....but when that truck breaks EVERY OTHER DAY, the boss starts likin fords more and more.
Get a job at a wrecker or mechanics garage for about 18 years, then come back and talk to me....that's how long I've been working on cars/trucks, 18 years....fixing my own cars/trucks and my family's...hell I worked in a garage for 6 months making my living off of it, won't do it again either...no money in it.
I've worked in and around the automotive industry pretty much my whole life.....when you've done the same, come back and talk to me about what cars are built better than others.

^ Brandon - you're about to earn yourself a holiday. Show others the respect you wish you had.
According to published performance figures, the Mustang GT would have a hard time keeping out of the taillights of an SRT4. Cobra would win but for the money you spend, it should.
What Ford dealership do I go to to look at the 5.0l Focus? Can I get one for ~$27grand?
As for the 70Boss. It's an excellent example of a classic Pony Car. I prefer the 69 front end personally and it ranks in my top 3 for a muscle or pony car.
To say it was heads and shoulders above the GM and Dodge offerings of the day is lunacy however.
