Drug Bust Gone Wrong
kinda messed up what goes through your mind in a situation like that. He thought he could block the next shot with his foot or hand. the criminal seemed to have zero problems with just shooting the guy. no remorse, total premeditation and no emotion.
drugs.....meh
drugs.....meh
The guy with the drugs was also a horrible shot. If your shooting someone in most cases to kill them you shoot for the head. If your intending to hurt the guy without killing him shoot at a foot or a leg.
Police are trained to shoot for the center of mass. Not to shoot for the hand, leg, head. As soon as you have that adrenaline rush you lose some fine motor control. It gets extremely difficult to shoot for a small target. Which is why they get trained to shoot center of mass (middle of the torso).

Cops now are actually trained to shoot in bursts of 3. 2 to the torso and 1 to the head. (slow him down and then take him out)
They do this because shooting a person in the leg/arm is almost useless. If they're on drugs of some sort the shots to the extremities will barely slow them down.
