Ok so heres my thought process, from what I have read to burn a dual layer disc its painfuly slow like 2x write. So for now I buy a cheap but decent burner and wait for the speeds to increase on DL burners.

List some burners that you guys use.

Costco has an 8x AOpen DVD+/-RW Burner for $93 ... Looks like it has a nice software package included as well ...

Not Plextor quality, but surely comparable to the likes of Lite-On, LG, etc.

I have a Lite-On LDW-451S, just for the record ...

I'll convert it to an 851S when 8x media is cheap ... For now, burning a DVD in 25-35 minutes is just fine for me [img]tongue.gif[/img]
