Does anyone play?

Are there any good "free" ones online anymore?

Thanks, and Shalom!

I played for fun and got my butt kicked royally I guess you really have to be a true fan to be able to do it lol There was one that was like 6 games long dont even remember what that was but the free ones are hard to find these days unfortunately. If you do find one thats free lemme know if they have hockey to, becuz that was fun.

Yahoo is still free and I run A LOT of teams every year. I usually win one leagues per 3 I join. I have had 6 football teams at once in the past.
BTW this is American football (though Canadian would be fun too)

i run a league on sporting news.

its totally free.

www.tsn.com

create a team in 'basic fantasy football' and join the "Canadian Football Fanatics" league. No password should be required.

Its basically a salary cap pool, you get a 35 million salary cap. Everything is laid out by sporting news, something like 15 trades for the year.

Mike, even though you are an NFL 2k5 fan, you're more than welcome.

Thanks Buffdaddy and John. I just can't see any reason in paying for fantasy sports. To be honest I won all the pools I was in the first two years... last year I had to quit because I was house hunting.

I used to play on nfl.com, with in a draft-type league. I managed to own the regular season (not last year but the year before) with priest holmes, terrell owens, rich gannon, and morten anderson (all #1 at their positions)... but of course by the time finals rolled around owens and holmes were both injured and gannon had the worst game of the season. So i basically quit after that.

I had success in tsn salary cap basketball though, so maybe i'll give this one a try.

They also offer FREE leagues, under 'basic fantasy football'....

The league I am 'running' is totally free.

It is 'temporary' in that there are generally (in hockey and baseball, at least) two halves ('seasons') of the pool. IE in baseball we are currently in 'season 2' , which is basically the second half of the MLB season.

Anyhow, come one come all, I like the tsn.com leagues cause they are all already set out in terms of players, prices, etc etc...less work
