Another solid budget beer is Brewhouse beer, found at superstore $9.88/case after tax's. Only thing is you gotta plan ahead, cause they don't chill it!
Personally, i prefer canadian/corona...if everything you guys say is true about the sol stuff i might try it out </font>[/QUOTE]It's actualy made in Saskatoon and costs a hell of a lot more here.
Best Beer in B.C. this past year was Granville Island Winter Ale, it was a limited edition and the word so quick they sold 30,000 cases in a week, made the news as that was some kind of a record, and next week it was pretty much sold out. Have to wait 'till November...
Sleemans Silver Creek is great ice cold.
Vancouver Island Pipers Lager, wow!
Miller Genuine Draft is the best easy drinkin' beer warm, stays smooth even at room temp.
Want a high % craft beer? Try Unibroue's "La Fin Du Monde" Ale (End of the World), it's like 9 % and not too heavy tasting and one glass gets you looped.

I had to resort to Sleeman's Honey Brown this weekend. It was drinkable but 1) their Cream and Steam are way better, 2) I'll take anything from Big Rock, Kootenay, or Shaftbury (pretty much) first, and 3) drinking Honey Brown Nut Pale anything makes me feel like a preppy doob
