anyone remember these?
I am currently brown breading the van so now is the time to swap this out if ever. Any suggestions on what I could do to move the bright/dim switch into hand control territory?

thanks
craig.

My first car, 69 Chevelle, had a floor switch for the highbeams.

Anyone ever have a car with a windshield washer pump mounted on the floor?

Push button tranny? '63 Valiant I think it was.

Or how about those beauty vacuum run wipers?

Hey Craig, I guess you've got to get in there and run the wires up the dash and mount a switch there.
Maybe use the switch from an aftermarket cruise control if you really wanted it on an arm off the steering column. Think that would work?

My first vehicle, '88 Ford F150, had the floor mounted high/low selecter switch.

Personally I liked it there. It works well in a big vehicle. In a cramped car interior it wouldn't be as practical but I say leave it there.

My 1978 benz had a floor mount windshield washer pump that you had to manually pump the fluid. It matched the rest of the car...Ugly!
