1 more thing, if you have a fairly new Compaq, hit f10 at startup and you will boot into recovery and you can choose to do a destructive recovery (thats only if you have a d: partition with recovery on it)

cereal83 you must of done this about as many times as I have since I would said the same thing. I work in a store and regularly have to reinstall the OS because customers scrue up the computer.

Wiltshire, yeah I have installed Xp, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server quite a bit. (xp and 2000 have basically the way of installing the OS) I go to college for network admin and just last week I had to set up 3 servers so 3 installs, a xp client machine and 4 2000 Pro client machines so I have done quite a bit of install. Geez on tuesday at school I am going to have to install 4 2000 Server, 3 2000 Pro and 3 XP Pro just for a project.

lol

Not sick of it yet, the only thing that sucks in an install is at the very end the Making start menu, registering stuff, saving stuff. Man that takes soooo long
