I need at least 1500 watts.
Main use to run my air conditioner in my camper van - Maytag 9000 BTU unit.

I'm considering but not decided:

Honda - EU2000
Coleman 1850 (at Home Depot)
Honda - EN2500
Yamaha - YG2800i
Kawasaki ge2200
some generic brands on ebay

any help appreciated.

My Dad has a smaller version of the Honda one you posted, it is very quiet, very reliable, and very light. That would be my choice.

IMO honda or Yamaha ............. make sure ytou check the continuos load rating, the ratrings on the side are peak output

my uncles 3500 honda is rated for 2000 continuous load
