cavy man how u figure that someone's pants have to be falling down in order for them to pull out a gun? my pants dont fall down and 3/4 of the illegal guns in Toronto dont come from pepole who's pants fall down either, trust me. so let's not be stereotypical and ignorant ******, ok?

what happened to using your fists is same thing that happened to steam engines and flared hippy pants, it went out of style.

 

No No my friend i wasn't trying to say it that way,but look at all the stats of gang members/pics and everyone that they catch using a gun everyone of them have bagy pants coats etc.

the problem is that dudes that wear baggy pants are the ones that get caught for doing stupid like shooting up eaton center. others who get caught dont make the front page of the newspaper b/c they dont do such high profile shooting, they just knock on your door and kill u and these guys dont wear baggy pants but they will out your whole family like nothing. i want to slap all the baggy pants idiots that get caught b/c they make the good baggy pants guys look bad. that dude that shot 3 RCMP officers on his farm/grow op made less noise than the idiot who shot the 15 year old by stander girl in the bright day lights on the busiest street in the whole of Canada. Why did they not want to ban guns when the 3 officers got shot for absolutely nothing?????? Interesting what would be said if the guy that shot them wasnt some middle aged marijuana grower living on a farm but rather an 18 year old dude from jane and finch wearing baggy pants? and that guy had some fully auto artilery, the baggy pants guys have what? .22's and 9mm at best?

cavy man i know what u mean about Toronto these days. That's why im takin full advantage of the ability to legaly own, posses and transport fire arms....its better to be safe than scared.

 

First off I dont see the need for the attack on me........thread got off topic is heading down a dangerous road about people talking about buying handguns and IMO needs to be closed.


My problem is this, Its the people out there like yourself that want a handgun to defend themselfs that make it hard for people like myself and my family who own guns for hunting. 90% of the time the only reason you need a gun to defend yourself is because youve put yourself in the position to begin with.

People dont just walk up to your door and shoot you....there are EXTREMELY RARE cases where that could happen but IM thinking youve got to worry about getting hit by lightning instead.

 

where are u from again? alberta or something? sure i should worry about getting hit my lightning meanwhile we had 6 people shot and 1 dead right infront of the biggest mall in down town Toronto area at 5pm on the boxin day day. we have people being shot at funerals for other poeple who were shot a week earlier, we got people being shot while attending church services, while at weddings and just sitting at a traffic light....

i dont see how me legally owning a weapon is making anything hard for you?? tell me?? i went thru all the legal stuff, did my 4 tests and passed the government screening?? what exactly am I doin to make it hard for u?

i would have to disagree on the 'putting yourself into situations' comment. last time 4 dudes jumped my fence and went for one of the cars on the drive way i just let my big and angry dog out and they were lucky he could not jump the fence after them........what if next time they dont come empty handed and having a dog or a bat is not good enough? u should look up the stats for Toronto and see the number of home invasions we had in 2004/2005.
