Gm and concept cars
Whats with gm and not making original designs to concept cars when they hit production? I Pontiac has the Solctice *sp* and Saturn has the Sky both of which appear to be based on same platforms. However once they hit build date they change specs, I.e Engine Concepts show 2.2/2.0 Ecotec 240hp 225lb torque.. Instead they give a 2.4 ecotec 170hp and 200lb torque? Why not not build it to the original design what makes them change the designs/specs is it so the car stays withing a price range? Vauxhaul has a sweet looking concept but there not making it.. but it's based on the solctice roadster as well...

These cars actually look pretty nice in the concept base but when they come to production there not as appealing for some reason it's freakin annoying....

It's like I say, "I can design an ugly car on paper, how come I'm not the one being paid billions of dollars like all the other people who call themselves artists for designing the ugliest car ever"
Anyone can design an ugly car and say what i just said, so why aren't we being paid to do it?
And I'm not saying this car's ugly Doug, I'm speaking in general.

There are many reasons why the cars don't make it to production as they were in concept form. $$ is one of them. Also Concept cars don't have to meet emissions or crash worthiness, whereas production cars do. Also have to look at drivability, sure Ford could release a 900 hp Mustang, but just wait until all the lawyers start going after them when their clients start crashing into stuff.
