Dude.....are you serious?
Shall I count the ways? maybe just a few.
1.Khabibulin is a far tougher goalie to play against than Esche. He is a proven playoff contender with a very low GAA.
2.Tampa matches up to Calgary better than Philly. This is NOT a good thing neccesarily for Calgary. In my opinion, We will have a tougher time with Tampa's obviously better (than Philly's) offense.
3.Philly has a number of band-aid players
4.Did I mention Tampa's offense? scary.
5.Season series. Calgary beat Philly, Tampa beat Calgary.
6.Tampa is a young team compared to Philly. What have we done to Veteren-filled teams these playoffs?
7. Although Tampa's defence-core isn't spectacular, Philly was in tough as well (Keep in mind...Desjardins was injured.)

These are just my personal thoughts.
Got any reasons that you feel Philly would have been a tougher team to play? or did you just read an article somewhere on the internet? Most analysts agreed with me anyhow......

I just prefer TBay as a team .. at least even if Calgary loses I won't hate the team that beat them (if it would have been Philly)

The Tigers PP sucked during this tourney! But they fought back in the final game down 5-1 to finish 5-6. Not many teams could do that. The important thing is they earned me a meal, any wins past that was gravy.
