G6 is sweet but around $30k CAN I don't know if it is replacing the Grand Prix.
The Mazda 6 is an amazing car and it should do well in winter since my old neon did well in winter and thats a POS. I would get the 2 door one, I really like them have they have respectable power and nice interior!
Go test drive everything and see what you like best and what you can afford!

You said you might be looking for something GM.
Well, my gf had one of the nwere Impalas for a bit.
I really liked it. Nice ride, pretty decent stock system (although I'm sure you would be replacing it).
Looks pretty good and has more than enough room inside of it.

As far as the G6 goes. Those things look cool as hell. But once they come out since they are replacing the Grand AM you know you'll see them freakin everywhere. I want a car that not everyone and their brother has. There are certain cars that so many people feel the need to buy. ala Grand Prix, Grand AM, Neon (Around here) and several others.
As long as whatever I get has a warranty on it so that I can evaluate how good the car works for the first year and not have to pay for repairs.

^^^Ha Geta Cobalt there out soon I think there around 24,000$ cad... 200-210hp....I think it's called the Cobalt SS... I won't join the "Civic Nation" cause there all the same damn thing people copying each other body kits and crap like that, there the automotive version of the menenonite.
