Well I would buy an import.. I almost bought a 01 Civic 4 door LX,, but this olds came up at a stupid low price i couldn't pass it up..

When it comes to cars you want to look at what they call residual value.. in easy terms it is what it will be worth in x ammount of years time estimated.. As the boat your in now with the Camaro.. It was a pricey car when you bought it but how much value has been lost over the years you owned it..

By getting a car with an excellent Residual value (Honda / hyundai / Toyota) makes a better investment,, 5 years down the road when you want something new..

And before someone trashes hyundai for being in that list... look it up..

I actually got the Camaro for a pretty good deal at the time I bought it. I mean it was a great deal coming from a dealership. I think I paid like 9900.00 with 35,000 Miles on it. So it wasn't exactly cheap. But they were selling it for 12,000 originally. But, I bought it in the middle of the winter and since most cars like that don't sell in the winter they gave it to me cheaper to get rid of the thing.

I would bet I could get at least 3000.00 on trade in at a minimium. Since they'll turn around and sell it for like 6,000 probably. It's only got 87,000 miles on it. Don't know what that turns into Canadian wise.

But, at any rate I just got back from my credit union. They approved me for 17,000 dollars. I won't spend that much since I am trading my car in. But, I know what amount I have to play with now.

Well thats a nice figure to work with.. I personally like the Honda Accord V6 2 door.. you may be able to find one of them with 15000 to 25000 mile on it in that price range.

Also you would be surprised the power they have in them.. I used to work for a performance shop specializing in JDM, had a customer with a 2001 Accord V6, we upgraded the injectors and put cold air intake on it, did a chip mod and also replaced the mufflers with some ractive cans.. he could almost keep up with the shop car (93 Drag Civic SI 12.9 1/4 mile w/street tires)
