I finally got some good news for a change.

My mom stepped up and offered me a kdney as has my sister.


We received the paperwork this monday and begin tests here locally. after St Pauls hospital in Vancouver gets that, they go over things a bit more and invite us down for more preliminary tissue matching.


You have no idea what this means for me man. Get my life and freedom back. no more strapped into a chair for 5 hours a day to do dialysis.


I can get back to work eventually and get my bills caught up. about 10$G in debt over a year and start to work on my system. Imiss runnin the lanes and the people.


But i will be back man. and hungry for a win

 

I had no idea you were in need of one man....

My mother donated a kidney to my uncle about 1.5 years ago. His life was completely turned around after that.

Like you said.. going through dialasys is hell... with my mothers donation he was finally off the machines and is as healthy as ever.

I hope you find yourself in the same situation when it's all said and done!

 

Now if we can get you to stay away from the lawnmowers you'll be set!

wellhopefully it is very soon as i have spent most of the last year in the hospital. no immune system at all. 5 rides in the ambulance casue i was out cold and couldnnt be revived. couple small heart attacks etcetc.


No big deal man. Atleast i have a means of life support wit the dialysis machine. other people with different problems dont have that and my heart goes out to them.


I just want to get healthy enouh to give Alma a run. come out of retirement dammit and teach me alot of what i have forgotten or dont know yet.


oh ya and if you can winning te 649 wold help too.


Anyways thanks for the kind words fellas. Sorry i couldnt make Kamlops last week.my bad but hard to drive and hang onto a bucket at the same time.
