Dood, evanesence is huge in the states. Bring me to life just will not die. And the grammies aren't a popularity or sales contest, they have a group that votes for the best music. So what if kids think 50 cent is cool because he got shot "In the Hood". Gimme a break.

Rap is so funny that artists are popular when they first come out cause they are shocking and violent. Now that M & M is socially acceptable, with normal people liking his music, movie, and not caring about his whole "Rape my mother" thing he'll be gone in no time. So will 50. At least MM can write his own songs. 50 doesn't even do that.

The thing with music is the stuff that has staying power is stuff that will always be in fashion, relationships, feeling crappy, feeling happy etc. with rap it's all about being gangsta right now. look at Public Enemy,one of the greatest rap groups ever but where are they now that black power isn't in the media everyday. Rappers like 50 cent will be gone because being a murton fleckin P.I.M.P.(le) will fall out of fashion and he will go with it.
