I was going to post this on the 21st...but i was too tired and got busy for a few days...anywho, the Calgary Greenday concert was AWESOME! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

it was my first time seeing them and they did an excellent show - played all the songs you wanted to hear. the chart toppers from the latest album, the classic hits from all the albums, and they even did some covers of james brown and ozzy!!! it was sooo good.

i was really surprised too, because they had just done a show the night before in edmonton, and i thought (being kinda old for punk rock) might not have as much energy for the calgary show - but they did!

this was the last show of the tour, and i don't expect them to do too many tours after this one - expecially after 16 years! but i got my souvenir t-shirt, which cost half the amount of the ticket!!!

althought the tix weren't on the floor it's one concert i won't forget!!!!

Hehe... either that tour isn't over, or they're doing another one because they're going to be in Ottawa in September...

WE had a wicked time at the Edmonton show too. i loved hearing that operation ivy song with fans playing the tunes. Only missed out on When I come around and Going to Plaslauqa (sp). Don't miss this tour, almost as good as motley crue's show. A +
