Since you want to get technical; there should be 2 spaces after the period and before the word "Also".

"Many descriptivists support the notion that a single space after a full stop should be considered standard because it has been the norm in mainstream publishing for many decades. This is supported by the MLA, APA, and The Chicago Manual of Style".

Also, try to double space after a period in a post and see what happens to your extra space!

Well it depends on where you look.

It depends on what style of writing you're using.

MLA (Modern Language Association) style: 2 spaces
APA, AP, Chicago style: 1 space

MLA style is used for publications that deal with Literature, Art, History, Foreign Languages or the study of Linguistics.

APA style is used for scientific publications in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, any of the Sciences, etc.

So it depends on what kind of book you're writing. If it's a fiction novel, go with two spaces. If you're publishing scientific data, go with one space.

The first one is correct.
Meh...looks like it can be done either way...

Rick I have showed you and your forum nothing but respect I have been on this forum since 2000 I also have another user name wich i could have used to come back on but chose not to. The thing is im not the kind of person who starts $hit i just end it and so what if me and Richard go at it a little no harm came from it. This is the last thing i have to say to everyone if you have a problem with me dont use your keyboard call me its easy or pm me and we can solve the issue. So Dukk you banned me do you have a problem with me because i will be at every show this year and you can come talk to me about it. Dont worry i wont say im going to kill you or punch you out im not like that but lets get somthing clear im not some 17 year old kid that takes things lightly my friend.

blah blah blah. Obviously you did not use your holiday as a time of reflection. Mind your manners or leave. Simple. You repeatedly strongly demeaned Richard for no reason. I don't give a **** what your personal situation is with him or anyone else quite frankly - just keep it off the board. You regularly act like a jagoff here and I don't care for it. Want to run under my radar - keep it to the SPL and East forums, I don't go there much.

And nice passive aggressive posting, child. I am aptly warned I guess. Your kommando skills rule
