has anyone else beat halo 2 i just did and i dont like the ending at all it sucked. there should have been more single player than that. now there is going to be a 3rd one what is up. dont get me wrong i love the game but they should have ended it alot better than they did

The ending was a big let down for me as well. I was all psyched up for one last final battle..but no....

i agree, the rest of the game was great, but the end was just awful. i was thinking to myself, 'was that actually the end of the game?'

I think the single player ended so abruptly because there is still quite a bit more story to tell. Which is why they need to make another game to finish it. If they added more to the game and tried to finish the story all in part 2 the thing probably would have taken over another year to finish. I don't think anyone wanted to wait that long for a new game.

And Halo 2 is quite a bit longer than the first one. It had 5 more levels than the first game. I loved it personally. Abrupt ending or not I loved it!

i thought the 1st one was longer. even though the second one might have had more levels, im pretty sure i got a lot more play time out of the first one.

That's probably because at the time it came out it was quite new and different. As well as it seemed harder. The first one did seem to take me longer to finish. However I played Halo so much that when I got to part 2 I pretty much tore through it fast. If I were to play part 1 now and then play part 2 right after I am pretty sure part 2 would take longer to finish.

Actually I bought one of those huge controllers from EB games in Owen Sound. It's perfect for big handed people such as me.

If I could afford X-Box Live, maybe Halo 2 would get more play time.
